Okay, so I’ve been messing around with this CopyOMEGA Ω Speedmaster Chrono Chime watch for a while now, and I gotta say, it’s a pretty interesting piece. I mean, I’m no watch expert or anything, but I know a cool thing when I see one.
First off, I did some digging around. You see these fancy watch shops selling the real deal, the legit OMEGA Speedmaster Chrono Chimes. And man, they are complicated things. These are the high-end things. But for someone like me, I am not willing to pay that price, and I decided to go for a replica.
So, I finally got my hands on a CopyOMEGA. And let me tell you, it was a journey. Getting it was an adventure. Finding a seller, waiting for it to arrive, the whole nine yards.
When I finally got it, the first thing I did was slap it on my wrist.
- It’s a bit hefty, I’m not gonna lie. I think they say it’s 45mm, which is pretty big. But it felt good, you know? It has that solid, substantial feel to it.
- It’s got all these buttons and dials on the side. Honestly, I’m still figuring out what they all do. But they look cool, and it’s fun to play around with them. It is a complicated thing.
- I tried wearing it around for a few days, just to get a feel for it. It definitely got some attention. People were asking about it, and I felt pretty fancy, not gonna lie. I wore it and went to work, and my colleagues asked me some questions about this watch.
It is a Numbered Edition!
One more thing, it is a “Numbered Edition”. From my understanding, they only made a few, and each one has a number. It made me feel it is unique.
Is it worth it?
Look, if you’re a serious watch collector with tons of cash to blow, maybe you want the real OMEGA with all the bells and whistles. But for a regular dude like me, this CopyOMEGA is pretty sweet. It looks great, it feels good, and it tells the time. What more do you need? I mean, it’s a replica, so it’s not gonna be perfect. But for the price, I’m not complaining.
I reckon if you got a smaller wrist, or just don’t like them big clunky watches, this CopyOMEGA Speedmaster 38mm is a good one. It ain’t too heavy, and you will feel comfortable.
All in all, I’m happy with my CopyOMEGA Ω Speedmaster Chrono Chime. It’s a fun little toy, and it’s definitely a conversation starter. And who knows, maybe one day I’ll be able to afford the real thing. But until then, this will do just fine.
