So, I’ve been wanting to get my hands on a Rolex Submariner for a while now, but man, those things are expensive! Then I started thinking about high imitation versions. I mean, they look almost exactly the same, right? And they’re way cheaper.
I started doing some digging online, looking at different forums and websites. Some folks were saying that the high imitation Rolexes are a real problem, and there are guides out there to help you tell the difference between a real one and a fake one. I guess it’s a big deal for collectors and stuff.
I found this one website that seemed pretty legit, offering a “High Imitation Rolex Two-tone Black Submariner Original order.” I thought, “This could be it!” They had all sorts of pictures and details. They even mentioned the model number “116610” engraved on the 12 o’clock side, just like the real ones. And the 6 o’clock side had some other markings, too.
I spent a few days going back and forth, reading reviews and comparing prices. I even checked out eBay, and sure enough, there were a bunch of these high imitation Rolexes there, too. People were talking about the older model, the 16613, but this two-tone black one, that’s the one I had my eye on.
Making the Decision
- The Price: The price was definitely a big factor. I mean, a real Rolex Submariner can cost a fortune, but this high imitation was way more affordable.
- The Look: From the pictures, it looked almost identical to the real thing. The two-tone design, the black dial, it all looked spot on.
- The Risk: I knew there was some risk involved. It’s not a real Rolex, after all. But I figured, for the price, it was worth a shot.
Finally, I decided to pull the trigger. I placed the order and waited. A few days later, the package arrived. I opened it up, and there it was, the high imitation Rolex Two-tone Black Submariner. It looked even better in person than in the pictures.
I’ve been wearing it for a few weeks now, and I have to say, I’m pretty happy with it. It keeps time well, it looks great, and I didn’t have to break the bank to get it. Sure, it’s not a real Rolex, but for me, it’s close enough. I get to have the look and feel of a luxury watch without the crazy price tag. It’s not a bad deal, if you ask me.
Now, I’m not saying everyone should go out and buy a high imitation Rolex. But for me, it was a good decision. I got what I wanted, and I didn’t have to spend a ton of money. That’s a win in my book.
