So, I’ve been trying to get a good look at this Jaeger-LeCoultre JLC Master Ultra Thin Perpetual Calendar watch. It’s a real beauty, but man, it’s tough to find detailed info on pricing. I started by looking at the basics of the watch. It’s 39mm in diameter, 9.4mm thick, and 45.7mm from lug-to-lug.
I dug around to find some history on the brand. Turns out, the LeCoultre trademark ended in 1985, and then it became Jaeger-LeCoultre. I figured they’d be in the 30-99 range, but they make about 95,000 watches a year, which is a lot!
I checked out their official website, looking at the Master Ultra Thin collection. All those luxury watches, the craftsmanship is just wild. But no prices! Just tags like “Luxury Watches” and “Jaeger-LeCoultre.” I did learn “A classic, elegant example of Jaeger-LeCoultre expertise.” from somewhere. It’s definitely true, but not very helpful for pricing.
Then, for some reason, I got sidetracked and started looking at the weather in West New York, NJ. Don’t ask me why, maybe I was thinking of visiting the area. Anyway, I saw a 10-day forecast and some filters for events. “West New York” and “The Town” were some tags I noticed. It got me looking at apartments there – 163 of them! Cheap ones, fancy ones, even ones that allow pets.
My search then took a weird turn. I stumbled upon a notice for a West New York ABC meeting on December 19th. Then I found this local news site, Hudson County View, run by some guy named John Heinis. It’s all about Hudson County, NJ. I even read about a fire that happened on Thanksgiving in West New York and injured 10 firefighters. They’re still investigating it.
And lastly, I found a page about how to thank a police officer or employee of the West New York Police Department for a job well done. What does this have to do with my watch search? Nothing.
So, yeah, my quest to find the price of this Jaeger-LeCoultre watch has been a total rollercoaster. I learned a lot of random stuff about West New York, but I’m still not close to the price. I guess I need to keep digging. I really want this watch. I will do anything to get it.
