Now, I heard there are a few different versions of this model, but the one I got is the 310.92.44.50.01.001. I started by just wearing it around, you know, getting a feel for it. It’s got this skeletonized dial, which means you can see the insides, and they’ve made the movement look like the moon’s surface. It’s pretty wild when you look at it up close.

The movement inside is called the 3869, which is basically a 3861 but with all this moon surface treatment. They call it the “original moonwatch,” so I guess it’s a big deal. I spent a good amount of time just staring at it, trying to figure out all the little details.
Playing Around
So, after wearing it for a bit, I started playing around with the chronograph. It’s got these pushers on the side, and I was timing all sorts of random stuff. I felt like a kid again, timing how long it took to make coffee, how long the dog took to do his business, you know, just goofing around.
It’s not just a pretty face, though. This watch feels solid. It’s not too heavy, but it’s got some weight to it. And the strap is comfortable, it’s not one of those that makes your wrist all sweaty.
I started showing it off to a few friends, and they were all pretty impressed. One of them even said he wanted to get one too. I guess it’s got that effect on people. It’s not every day you see a watch that looks like this.
